Naturally, We are prone to tag or call people who suffer some misfortunes with names. We tend to isolate ourselves from them even when they are out of such unfortunate situations.
According to Collins Dictionary, "If someone or something is stigmatized, they are unfairly regarded by many people as being bad or having something to be ashamed of.
Apostle Paul in the above text was exhorting believers to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.
In this crisis, the best we can do to help those that would be affected is to share in their sufferings and their success stories as well.
Let's weep with them by praying, encouraging and interceding for them. Let's rejoice with them by accepting them wholeheartedly after they have recovered from the sickness.
We should resist the temptation of calling them names or running away from them.
We are who we are now by grace. When God graces you don't disgrace somebody.
